COR Community Development Corporation

COR formed the COR Community Development Corporation (COR CDC), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, in 2001 initially, to raise funds for scholarships to students attending Orange County colleges and universities. To that end, the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship Concert has become the premiere Orange County King Week event, raising thousands of dollars to fund education under the leadership of Ron & Karla Guyer, Alisa Covington, Craig & Lisa Rodgers, Wade & Janet Keith, Keith & Mara Murray, and Rev. Mark & Hermia Whitlock.

Today, COR CDC encompasses programs for community development, financial literacy training, business training, gang intervention and prevention, substance abuse recovery and intervention, college scholarships, and health. In particular, COR CDC collaborates with Angel Food Ministries to serve as an Orange County distribution location.
